Pickler was born Kellie dawn Pickler on June 28, 1986. She had a turbulent childhood. For the sake of leaving her abusive boyfriend, Pickler's mother left her when she was just 2 years older. Pickler's mother returned in 1995 back to her home and was given the full charge of the child. However, it wasn't as planned. Her grandparents took care of Pickler from age 12 until adulthood. Pickler had to take care of her kids without parents. In the absence of parents Pickler's schedule was so busy that she could not take classes. In the meantime, she began learning how to look after her family earlier in age. Pickler was a cheerleader in the middle and high school she attended. North Stanly High School was the school where she graduated in 2004. Pickler has also been a contestant in a beauty pageant. Her title is Miss Stanly.
