Melina Kanakaredes Melina Kanakaredes, an American actor is best known for her portrayals of Dr. Sydney Hansen in the NBC drama Providence and as Dr. Lane Hunter in The Resident. Also, she was praised for her breakthrough television debut role as Eleni Andros Cooper in the CBS soap drama Guiding Light. She was also a part of 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians, The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The actress is currently developing a film adaptation of Elisabeth's autobiography The Wheel of Life with Vlas and Charley Parlapanides, the duo who wrote the script for Immortals. She's also filming a new series called Gods & Heroes.
