Maxim named her as one of the top women in Fall TV 2008 Callies made the move into New York in 2003 and soon landed her first TV role, Kate O'Malley, a recurring role on the short-lived CBS series Queens Supreme. Callies played detective Jane Porter as part of the WB's Tarzan.
